Small blues off the surf hitting bunker chunks and mullet the last couple of days for a few bait and waiters. Short fluke in the wash for those targeting them with bucktails tipped with Gulp. Heard of a couple 17 plus inch fluke for a couple guys taking advantage of the 2 fish at 16 inches on IBSP. Rays and sharks at night hitting bunker and mackerel. Still short bass hanging by th bridge hitting swim shads and small swimmers. 2-3 pound blues roaming the Ocean Gate and Island Heights side of the Toms River the last 2 nights at dusk and after dark. The crab report has picked up as well from both sides of the river. One of our customers picked up 2 1/2 dozen in the Island Heights area yesterday. We have fresh bunker, killies and live eels in stock as well as all the frozen baits needed for fishing and crabbing.
