Fishing Reports

7-19-17

Pretty much the same thing off the surf that we posted yesterday. Chris Kowalski picked up 2 keeper fluke at the Barnegat Inlet. Plenty of snappers around to keep you busy and the crabbing is good. Clamming is also good in the back bay as Brian Lindner with his daughter Macayla with Rich Koz and his daughter Athena picked up a bunch yesterday afternoon. More Clam Out clam rakes came in so for those of you who have been looking for one the last few days come and it.

Small blues, rays (watch your rod) and fluke off the surf during the day. Me and a buddy got our two keepers off of IBSP at the crack of dawn this morning. Sharks at night on bunker and mackerel. Snappers in the back and river along with good catches of crabs.

Get out there.

Some small blues and a few fluke off the surf yesterday. Cow nosed rays are around and sharks at night. We heard of a few keeper fluke from a couple of boats fishing the back bay. Brian Beddoe weighed in a nice 6lb 3oz fluke he got off the tires on a squid and spearing combo. Snappers in the back bay and the Toms River are keeping people busy while crabbing.

Some blues were around yesterday on IBSP hitting bunker chunks. Fluke as well for those targeting them. Brian Lindner and Rob Cashin picked up a few keeper fluke outside of the Old Barny Inlet. Snappers in the river and crabbing was good again. Steve Domanski with his daughter Allie picked up 7 dozen keepers in the river 2 days ago. We have fresh bunker, fresh clams, live eels and plenty of killies as well as everything you need for crabbing.

We didn't hear much from the surf yesterday due to not many fisherman out there. More live eels and killies came in yesterday and we have plenty of fresh bunker.

All pre-made rod and reel combos in stock are 20% off today through Sunday July 16th 2017 at both Murphy's and go Fish.
