Fishing Reports

6-1-19

Mostly blues off the surf again yesterday hitting bunker chunks, mullet and mackerel for the bait fisherman. Artificials worked as well. Metals, poppers and swimmers worked for those moving. Dominic Talerico weighed in a nice 14.8 pound blue yesterday. One of our customers picked up 2 keeper fluke off of IBSP that hit a Jetty Ghost Mullnut. Plenty of blues in the back bay and the Toms River hitting bunker chunks and mullet off the local docks and piers. Small swimmers and poppers are working early morning, dusk and after dark in some locations. We have fresh bunker, live eels and plenty of killies in stock along with an assortment of frozen baits.

Blues with the occasional bass off the surf the last couple of days hitting bait and artificials for the few who were out there. Blues still in the back bay and the Toms River as well. Decent bite at the canal with blues and a few nice keeper bass. Back bay fluke action is mostly shorts with some keepers mixed in by the BB and BI bouy. We have fresh clams, fresh bunker, live eels, killies and an assortment of frozen baits.

Blues roaming the local beaches in various sizes the last couple days hitting bunker chunks and mullet. The canal is producing  some bass and blues after dark for a few customers fishing with live eels. The back bay and the Toms River still has plenty of blues hitting bunker chunks and artificials. The back bay fluke action is good for some. Brian Lindner picked up 2 nice keepers and threw back a bunch of shorts again yesterday. We have fresh clams, live eels, fresh bunker and killies in stock.

Early morning and late afternoon bluefish bite off the local beaches. Bunker chunks and mullet worked for the bait fisherman and those moving with metals, poppers and swimmers found fish in a few spots. Brian Lindner picked up 2 nice keeper fluke and released multiple shorts fishing the back bay by boat. There was also a decent bluefish bite as well. Blues off the local docks hitting bunker chunks last night. We have all the baits you need so stop in either shop and pick up what you need on your way out.

Gator blues off the local beaches yesterday hitting metals, poppers and swimmers. Bunker chunks and mullet worked for the bait fisherman. Heard of a few fluke from a couple guys fishing with bucktails tipped with Gulp on IBSP. Local docks produced blues for guys fishing bunker chunks last night. We have fresh clams, fresh bunker, killies and an assortment of frozen baits for all your fishing needs.
