Not much going on yesterday due to the weather but it is opening day for Fluke today. We have killies and a wide assortment of Gulp in stock as well as all the frozen baits needed. Fresh Clams and Bunker are also in both shops.

Some large Blues came into the surf before dark last night at IBSP. Bunker chunks, metal and SP Minnows were all working and our new employee Austin needs to change out some hooks on his SP minnows. There are some blues in the 3-4 lb range around the Rt. 37 bridge and into the river hitting plugs and small poppers.

Sal and Pete Fiore were in their boat outside of the inlet snagging and dropping bunker. They had bass over 30 pounds.

Fluke season starts tomorrow and we have plenty of killies and all the frozen baits needed at both shops if you are heading out. We have Fresh Bunker and Clams as well so stop in and pick up what you need.

Blues taking Bunker chunks and metal on IBSP again yesterday but not in any great numbers. They were in the 8-10 lb range and I saw a short bass caught on clams where I was. A couple keeper Bass were taken a little North of the park.

Blues in the bay and river are still taking bunker chunks early morning and before dark. Small swimmers and poppers are working as well. We have Fresh Clams, Bunker, Bloodworms and plenty of frozen Mullet in both shops.

We had a couple nice sized Bass weighed in yesterday. 39.8 lbs and a 40.2 pounder trolling yellow Maja bunker spoons "in close" off of Seaside Park. Check out our Facebook page for the picture. There were some nice sized blues taking bunker chunks, metals and poppers in the surf as well as a few Bass taking clams. Blowfish are still out there stealing bait so if you want to bring a few home for the table bring a couple Blowfish rigs.

We have Fresh Clams and another 100 bunker came in yesterday afternoon. We have plenty of frozen mullet as well as an assortment of frozen baits for your fishing needs in both shops.
