Bass and blues off the surf the last couple days hitting clams and bunker chunks. Steve Domanski picked up shorts off the surf. Eugene Linder weighed in a nice 52.6 pound bass he got trolling a Mojo on Monday. Anthony Sasso Weighed in a 12.4 pound blue he got in the Toms River on bunker chunks. The Komisar family picked up short bass early off the surf then again in the river. The Murphy crew hit the river last night and Virginia picked up a couple nice blues on bunker chunks. We have fresh clams, fresh bunker, bloods, killies and live eels as well as all the fluke baits in stock.

Not many fisherman out yesterday but there was a few nice bass taken off the surf early on clams. Blues roaming the Toms River hitting bunker chunks and artificials. Today should be a little better. We have fresh bunker, fresh clams, bloods, live eels and killies in stock.

The surf produced some decent fluke yesterday for those targeting them. Bucktails tipped with Gulp (or a Jetty Ghost Mulnut) picked up some nice keepers. Some blues were around as well. The back bay and the Toms River has blues hitting bunker chunks and artificials. Starting to hear about a little blue claw crab action in the river. Nothing major but those pulling overnight pots are starting to see a few keepers.

A little quiet off the surf yesterday but we already heard of a few keeper fluke today from a couple guys on IBSP. Get the Mulnuts out. Brian Lindner out with his brother early this morning picked up fluke up to 20 inches and a bunch of 3-5 pound blues in the bay. It's opening day for fluke and it's starting with some good news. We have everything you need at both shops for the weekend.

Same thing off the surf with bass and blues. If your staying in one spot hopefully they come to you. Move around if you can. A lot of shorts reported yesterday and a few keepers along with blues hitting clams and bunker chunks. Blues again last night on both sides of the Toms River. Virginia and Abigail Murphy got into some 3-5 pounders in the Island Heights area last night. One of our customers Dale was trolling around the BB bouy with Gator Spoons and picked up blues and a 22 inch weakfish. More fresh clams came in today as well as fresh bunker. We also have plenty of bloods in stock. We are loaded up with all the fluke baits in both shops so stop in and pick up what you need for opening day tomorrow.
