Fishing Reports

10-30-17

There were a few bass picked up Saturday on bait off the surf and yesterday was a wash out. Things should start cleaning up so we will see. We have fresh clams, fresh bunker, green crabs and live eels.

Quiet off the surf yesterday but hopefully today is a different story before the storm. Short bass on artificials again last night in the back for a couple guys moving and finding them. The canal and the North jetty continue to produce blackfish on green crabs and those throwing eels and SP Minnows in the canal are picking up blues and the occasional bass. We got in Fresh Clams yesterday and Fresh Bunker and we have plenty of live eels and green crabs in stock. We got in a delivery of Stormr gear (jackets, bibs, hats and gloves) yesterday at Murphy's so stop in and pick up what you need on your way out.

Small blues and a few bass were reported yesterday off the surf. Plenty of bait off of IBSP with whales in the area. Don't forget a bunker snag just in case. There was a good bass bite on the Ocean Gate side of the river with them hitting small swimmers and swim shads last night. Water temps are dropping so get out there if you can.

A few small blues off the surf yesterday is about all we heard.

Today is another day.

Not much going on yesterday due to not many fisherman out thanks to the weather. Things should clean up today.
