Fishing Reports

6-14-18

A few keeper bass off the surf yesterday along with some blues. Those targeting fluke off of IBSP are doing well taking advantage of the 2 fish at 16 inches. One of our customers picked up a 19 in fluke and threw back a bunch of shorts in Lavalette using bucktails tipped with Gulp and a teaser. The fish hit a teaser. Hector Valdes weighed in a nice 5.07 pound seabass yesterday. More killies and fresh bunker came in and we have plenty of live eels in stock.

There had to be a few fish around off the surf yesterday as a lost bass found it's way to Steve Domanski's bunker chunk. Steve weighed in a 12.72 pound bass he got in Seaside yesterday. Anthony Santaita weighed in 3 fluke up to 4.37 pounds he got in the Manasquan River on Bucktails. The night bite on both sides of the Toms River was good again in a couple spots for those throwing bunker chunks and artificials for blues. Starting to hear more and more each day about crabs starting to chew in the river. Nothing major but it's starting finally.
